AI Provider for GitHub Models integrates GitHub Models as a cloud AI provider for the WordPress AI Client (WordPress 7.0+).

Once activated and configured with a GitHub Personal Access Token, the plugin registers GitHub Models as a provider — giving you access to models like GPT-4.1, Llama, Mistral, and more directly from your WordPress site.

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Plugins Add New Plugin
  2. Search for "AI Provider for GitHub Models”
  3. Install and activate the plugin
  4. Go to Settings Connectors and enter your GitHub Personal Access Token

Using FTP

  1. Extract ‘ai-provider-for-github-models.zip’ to your computer
  2. Upload the ‘ai-provider-for-github-models’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
  3. Activate the plugin on the WordPress Plugins dashboard
  4. Go to Settings Connectors and enter your GitHub Personal Access Token
