If you use it, tick \"Connect with MessengerHub\" and enter your Widget ID. Your number, bot, opening hours and absences are then taken from your MessengerHub account automatically \u2013 for example, the bubble shows \"We reply tomorrow from 9:00\" outside your opening hours. The plugin works fully without a MessengerHub account.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin can connect to <strong>MessengerHub<\/strong> (https:\/\/messengerhub.de), but only if you tick \"Connect with MessengerHub\" and enter a Widget ID. Without this, the plugin contacts no external service.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What it is used for:<\/strong> loading the WhatsApp number, Telegram bot username, opening hours and absence dates that you configured in your MessengerHub account.<\/li>\n<li><strong>When:<\/strong> when you save the settings, when you click \"Update now\", and automatically twice a day via WP-Cron.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What is sent:<\/strong> a request from your web server to <code>https:\/\/api.messengerhub.de\/widget\/&lt;your Widget ID&gt;<\/code>. Besides the Widget ID, only the plugin version is sent (as user agent). The plugin itself does not contact these services.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Install the plugin via Plugins \u2192 Add New, or upload the ZIP file.<\/li>\n<li>Activate it.<\/li>\n<li>Go to Settings \u2192 MessengerHub Chat.<\/li>\n<li>Enable WhatsApp and\/or Telegram and enter your phone number (with country code) or your Telegram bot username. Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The chat bubble appears on your website as soon as at least one messenger is set up.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20use%20a%20telegram%20channel%3F\"><h3>Can I use a Telegram channel?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Visitors cannot write to a Telegram channel. Use the username of a Telegram bot.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20plugin%20set%20cookies%20or%20need%20cookie%20consent%3F\"><h3>Does the plugin set cookies or need cookie consent?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The plugin sets no cookies and transmits no data when a page is loaded. Whether you need consent for the forwarding to WhatsApp or Telegram depends on your website \u2013 the settings page contains a suggested text for your privacy policy. This is not legal advice.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20is%20no%20qr%20code%20shown%20on%20my%20phone%3F\"><h3>Why is no QR code shown on my phone?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>On phones you cannot scan your own screen, so the bubble shows the \"Open chat\" button directly.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20do%20i%20find%20the%20messengerhub%20widget%20id%3F\"><h3>Where do I find the MessengerHub Widget ID?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In MessengerHub under Settings \u2192 Website widget.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"the%20bubble%20disappeared%20after%20connecting%20to%20messengerhub.%20why%3F\"><h3>The bubble disappeared after connecting to MessengerHub. Why?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The bubble is hidden if MessengerHub does not know the Widget ID, if the MessengerHub subscription is not active, or if no data could be loaded yet.
