Quickly add dynamic elements to the content on your Genesis websites.
This plugin adds a button to any WYSIWYG on your site and allows you to quickly add:
- Columns
- The default Genesis Shortcodes
- The default Genesis Widgets
to your site content.

Using The WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
- Search for ‘genesis shortcode generator’
- Click ‘Install Now’
- Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard
Uploading in WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
- Select
genesis-shortcodes.zipfrom your computer - Click ‘Install Now’
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
Using FTP
- Download
genesis-shortcodes.zip - Extract the
genesis-shortcode-generatordirectory to your computer - Upload the
genesis-shortcode-generatordirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
