Install via Plugins > Install New
- Search for "Google Fonts”
- Click the "Install Now” link
- Click "Activate Plugin”
Via ZIP / FTP
- Unzip the ZIP file and drop the folder straight into your wp-content/plugins directory.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

I was very hesitant to download this because I’m more of a Joomla person than a Wordpress person, so I try not to install plugins unless they’re used by thousands of other sites–I just don’t want any surprises that I can’t fix.
After frustratingly trying several other "popular” plugins that couldn’t even get working properly, I tried the free version of this and was amazed. After 5 minutes, I knew I had to purchase the Pro version to get the control I needed for adding a different font here and there on my website.
I’m very excited that it works so well, I highly recommend this plugin and its very much worth every penny I paid for it. Awesome job guys, its clean and easy to use–simply add the Google font name to the tag you want to use (example H6) and you’re good to go–it works wonderfully!!!
